so i just finished seasoning my carbon steel pan. i built up 5 layers of seasoning using the oven method (a really fin layer of oil and for one hour in a 250°C oven and than cooling in the oven). i used flaxseed oil (unfortunately i found this post right after i was finished). it looked good imo however it got a copperish colour.
