Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is extracted from fresh coconut milk obtained from matured coconut of 12 months old. VCO can be consumed in its natural state without the need for further processing. Virgin coconut oil is known for its medium chain tryglycerides (MCTs). The most important medium chain fatty acid found in VCO is lauric acid.

This equipment is used to extract Virgin Coconut Oil from coconut milk. The centrifuge is the final stage of the VCO extraction process and as the name suggests, the process uses centrifugation. The uniqueness of this process is that it uses a non-thermal extraction method, also known as cold processing.

The oil is fed through the bottom, the bowl of the centrifuge rotates around its axis and forms a strong centrifugal forceand the centrifugal force separates the suspension into liquids and solid. Heavy solid is deposited on the inner wall of the bowl, and forms the sludge, then it will be discharged by manual after the machine stops.
