This is one of our project in Philippine – a medium scale copra oil mill, including 20TPD oil extraction line and 10TPD oil refinery line. The daily capacity is processing 20 tons of copra (desiccated coconut) and get 10 tons of refined coconut oil. It is designed for manufacturing edible coconut oil from desiccated coconut (copra).

They also use virgin coconut oil machinery. They use a high-speed centrifuge to segregate the virgin coconut oil from raw coconut milk. In the fermentation method, they keep the coconut milk for 24 hours to ferment it. The process is natural, and the virgin coconut oil floats on the top. Then they will scoop out this layer of the oil and filter it.

Refined coconut oil is the processed coconut oil that does not contain any impurities. It is more precisely called RBD coconut oil. RBD stands for refined, bleached, and deodorized. Therefore, refined coconut oil has a neutral scent and flavor. The smoke point of refined coconut oil is higher than that of unrefined coconut oil.
