reported that one oil palm bunch provides up to 20 to 24% palm oil and 2 to 3% of palm kernel oil. Figures 7, 8 and 9 show the graphs of oil extraction efficiency at screw speed of 4, 10 and 16 rpm at constant time of sterilization and digestion within the groups. The results show that the maximum oil extraction

The production of palm oil involves temperatures, pressures and times, which can affect the yield of oil produced. Studies of the effects of such parameters on the expression of groundnut oil and other seed oils have been done Pominski et al., 1970, Dedio and Dorrell, 1983, Khan and Hanna, 1983, Sivakumaran et al., 1985, Adeeko and Ajibola, 1990.
Subsequently, oil was extracted from digested oil palm fruits using cold pressing at pressure 70 bar. The cold-pressed oil was then centrifuged at 1400 rpm and followed by separation using a two-phase decanter at 3000 rpm. After separation, the cold-pressed palm olein was collected for further analysis. Figure 1.

Provided is a process for producing cold pressed palm fruit oil with maintained natural antioxidant and bioactive compound contents to be substantially similar to prior to undergoing the process, the process including the steps of cleaning (2) palm fruits until all foreign objects such as trash and dirt are substantially removed, sterilizing (3) the palm fruits from step (a) at temperature of
The cold-pressed oil extraction machine with automatic cooling represents an advanced innovation in the field of oil production, designed to enhance both the efficiency and quality of extracted oils. This technology leverages the cold-pressing method, which operates at lower temperatures to preserve the nutritional integrity

Since the cold pressing method has only half the oil extraction rate, the price of most cold pressed oil is about 50% higher than that of hot pressed oil. Because the cold-pressing oil yield is very low, it is only professionally distinguished: low-temperature press oil extraction, and normal press oil extraction.

3. PALM OIL PROCESSING 3. 1 General processing description. Research and development work in many disciplines - biochemistry, chemical and mechanical engineering - and the establishment of plantations, which provided the opportunity for large-scale fully mechanised processing, resulted in the evolution of a sequence of processing steps designed to extract, from a harvested oil palm bunch, a
Cold Press Method: The cold press method involves mechanical extraction without the use of external heat. This helps retain more of the oil’s natural nutrients and flavors but typically yields a lower quantity of oil compared to the hot press method. Harvesting and Cleaning: Harvest ripe palm fruits and separate the kernels from the fruit’s
